Past Work

If you purchased a DIY D20 kit, you're in the right place! Below is a great Youtube video by @naztazia on the basics of punch needle fiber art. There are a lot of tutorials out there if you find one on your own, the basics are the same! Farther down the page you'll find specifics on how to finish your project!

How To Punch Needle

  • 1. Trimming

Leave the coaster on the frame. Trim the back of your mug tug so no peices of yarn are dangling. Try to trimp up any straw fibers as well prior to gluing.

  • 2. Glueing

With the coaster still on the frame, apply a thick layer of tacky glue to the back of your coaster. Apply the cork, fabric side down to the glue. Use your scissors to carefully cut the coaster off the frame, leaving ample fabric on each side.

  • 3. Drying/Finishing!

Place your glued coaster under something heavy for at least 24 hours. I use board game boxes and books. After 24 hours, carefully cut the excess fabric around the edges of your coaster. Enjoy!
